L’impuls a la internacionalitzacio de l’FP

Regina Carmeli has taken a major step in its internationalization strategy. The Erasmus+ program, the European Union's primary instrument for supporting education and training across Europe, has allowed our educational community to transcend local borders and fully integrate into the European Education Area.

This 2025-2026 academic year marks a significant turning point: it is the first year that all our vocational training cycles are actively participating in the mobility program: Administrative Management, Nursing Auxiliaries (TCAI), Early Childhood Education, International Trade, and Dental Hygiene.

This achievement demonstrates the center's unwavering commitment to ensuring that all students, regardless of their specialty, have the opportunity to develop professional and personal competencies in an international context.
The primary goal of these mobilities is for students to complete internship stays in foreign companies. These stays typically last between one and a half and two months, providing a period of total immersion that allows students not only to master technical procedures but also to improve their linguistic competence and their ability to adapt to multicultural environments.

These life-changing experiences are funded, either fully or partially, by European Union grants, made possible by the Erasmus Accreditation (VET) and the ECHE Charter (HED) held by our center. This financial support is vital to ensuring equity and providing access to students with fewer opportunities.

To ensure that positions are awarded objectively, Regina Carmeli follows a public and transparent selection process. The scoring criteria include academic records, language proficiency levels, and a letter of motivation submitted by candidates through the virtual classroom (Moodle).
We understand that going abroad can bring about concerns. Therefore, the school provides comprehensive support to participants in everything they need: accommodation search and travel management, processing of mandatory insurance, and searching for host companies that precisely match the student's professional profile.
This year, we have shattered all our management records. A group of 17 students from all vocational cycles has traveled to the city of Pescara (Italy) to conduct their internships in diverse environments such as hospitals, residences, dental clinics, early childhood centers, and the finance and management departments of major logistics firms.

Internationalization does not only involve students. This year, two teachers from our center will travel to Dublin (Ireland) to participate in a specialized intensive English-language training course titled "Innovative and Active Methodologies for Teaching and Learning". This stay will allow our educators to explore new active methodologies, which they will subsequently implement in our classrooms to enhance the global educational quality of the center.

We are incredibly proud of our students, whose bravery and eagerness to learn are building the Regina Carmeli of the future: a modern, European school committed to excellence.

Safe travels to all our participants!
